The demo worked for me! And in Debian which was surprising! It's a super basic game. Feels like it's made for touchscreens. You just shoot bugs as they come at you. I would go with the manufacturer's recommended height. Make sure you hang the lights with eye-hooks and chain. do not hang them by the power cord.
