Climbing Boxie PICS
It always amazes me how turtles can climb. I found my small female 3 toed box turtle trying to pull off this "Houdini" the other day. Looks like she shimmied herself between the wall of the pen and stake in the ground to the top, she was at least a foot up in the air. Luckily her shell was too big to fit between the gap.

I, too, have seen first hand how well box turtles climb...and if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would not have believed it! Your pictures are worth a thousand words, and the look on her face is priceless!

Most people are unbelieving when I tell them that Nigel LOVES to climb. And run Beautiful three toed!
