Another Testudo hermanni hermanni hatched today after 53 days This is the quickest I've had one hatch. She's adorable and is a pretty big baby even though mom is another one of my "mini" tortoises. Mom is 4.5", she's a little bigger than the mother of the last baby I hatched.

This little baby has an attitude and she hissed and gaped at me right out of her egg.

What a funny little monkey! She is adorable and even has a bit of a "sassy" look to her! Mom is gorgeous!

Tortugo, mom is exactly 5 years old. She's small, but the mother of the last baby I posed is only 4 years old and just barely 4 inches in length. These 2 moms are much smaller than the other adult hermanni hermanni have.
