While I was away this weekend a clutch of Eastern Hermann's Tortoises (Testudo hermanni boettgeri) all hatched. Here are a few photos of them, they are BIG babies...

I have also included some shots of one of the new babies next to a baby Testudo hermanni hermanni that recently hatched.

How many babykins do you have right now, Chris?

Yes they are pretty big for babies.

As for babies, right now I am raising 6 Testudo hermanni hermanni and 5 Testudo hermanni boettgeri soon there will be almost 20 of them though...

I've been over run for months and it's not going to get any better. I will be swimming in hatchlings by April.
