My name is Phyllis, I'm 25 recently married. I have 5 cats, 4 White's Treefrogs, and a 36 gallon fish tank. I love all animals, reading, movies and most of all art.

Hello, tortoises forbidden. That's a new one on me. Where is it you live?
I live in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Tortes and Turtles are illegal.... but I can buy tree frogs... go figure.

LOL moving would be great... but then there is the problem with moving out of province with 5 cats 4 whites tree frogs, a husband... and all my books and movies... because those are the things I'm not leaving here with out. LOL

Well I've heard it has to do with when they use to sell turtles in the pet stores and they use to sell those little turtle bowls with them to keep them in. I guess there was a lot of cases of Salmonella Poisoning. Don't know how true that is but. OH well... I'm still Tortoise-less.
It's a sad sad life that doesn't consist of at least one tortoise!
