Thanks
Hi Pete,
You would need to post a picture for us to know whats going on.
Danny
the pic is a bit blurry but you can make it out on the front
I am sorry Pete but I can not make out where it is curling. Could you try for a better pic.
i too am having trouble seeing the curling.
i only own a camera phone so that is the best photo i can get. It is probably visibly unoticable anyway, but i can feel it running a finger along the edge of the shell

Could you describe where it is curling. Like under her neck area or between her front and back leg where the bottom and top shells come together, etc?
If you look at this post http://tortoiseforum.org/just-a-couple-p...-1258.html it shows some of Kelly's Russians up close is this the type of shell curl you are referring too?
yes it is similar to the back in the second picture
OK I down loaded the pic and circled the area I think you are talking about Pete. Let us know if this is what you are referring to.
Thanks to Kelly for the use of her picture.
I can't say for sure, but I believe this may be a trait with some Russians. I don't believe it is a problem, unless it is from over eating. Hopefully some of the Russian experts will chime in. Guys thoughts on shell curling in the back of russians.
yep a few of my russians have that curling and as far as I know it's not an issue! mine are healthy enough, if just a bit overfed! LOL!
