I put together some of my Russians that I have had in quarantine. One of the males new to the group is really persistant with the girls. He is not harming anyone but just is bugging the crap out of them. Will he get over this? Should I remove him now and again? I was hoping to keep them all together, there is plenty of room so any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
I would seperate just to give the girls a break. Plus do you have all three males in with the two girls? If so they are probably wanting a break from the 3 boys who have spring fever. Also watch the males together to make sure they are not becoming aggressive to each other. You would hate to have one get hurt. My male was being feisty so I took him out for two days and now he is being a nice little boy and back snuggling with his girls.
I have two of the males in there and one of them was a rescue and on the smaller side and not interested in the girls. Just the one male who makes them nuts. I will have to pull him out for a bit. The males are not agressive towards each other at all. Thank goodness!
LOL They can sure have a one track mind, can't they?!?! In the last month of Hurley's "affections" towards the ladies, luckily if he goes at it for a day or two, then he needs two days off to sleep and recuperate! He's only had one day where he was so "pushy" that thought I might remove him, but then he settled down a little. He's got five girls to bother, so it's not so bad as they don't each get as much attention.
