this is my first enclosure.

it is soil/sand 60/40 with hemp and the bedding area (where she is currently hiding hehe)
i have made a slight difference since this photo i have put some slate into her water bowl as she was struggling to get out this seems to have worked, but i am keeping an eye on her (only got her today)
All comments are very welcome as i want the best for her.
Thanks in advance.

Trina, awesome enclosure! My little Hermann loves to hide in her Aspen, too.

In regards to the water bowl, I have several large pebbles inside the bowl to help prevent my tort from falling in/flipping over. That may help your situation, too.

Anyways, keep us updated Smile
nice job!!!!!!!
looks great! Congrats on your new addition!
thanks for all your comments. im so excited i cnt leave her alone she is sooo cute
Looks good. The suggestion of pebbles is a good idea, I do that in all my water bowls. Now she will do the final adjustments.
do you think pebbles would be better than the slate then?
I'd be afraid of the tort somehow getting caught/pin in with a piece of slate and could possibly drown. Pebbles can be moved accordingly, but are sturdy enough to give support.
right thanks for the advice ill change it when it has stopped raining and i can go and get some pebbles.
