Hi all, I am wondering what to use in my outdoor house for 3-toed boxies? Dirt? timothy hay? Mixture of something? I have hay/straw for my Russians, not sure what to use for boxies.

All my box turtles are outside with no houses, but they have a huge pile of garden debris that they dig down into for shelter.
