Hi there, I believe the smaller Hermann is hard, though there is someone on here who breeds them in New Jersey.
If you want to be totally sure you are getting a genuine Western you should post a pic of the tortoise and Chriss or Danny could probably give you a definite ID. I hear some supposed Westerns are offrered for sale [/i]that actually are Easterns.
