I got a question on a local board to ID this tort. I'm guessing Greek... am I right? If so, what subspecies?

Thanks,
T.
T. I don't seem to be able to get the pics up. Just get a red X. Is it just me?

Thanks Anja.

Thanks Anja. Yep T. it is a Female Greek. What subspecies I am not sure of. Do you have a pic of the back of its shell? Like it is walking away from you (I’m trying to learn the subspecies). Danny??
No Robyn, I just have these 4.
The owner thought it was a russian and posted some pics to be sure.
Hi Tiago,
It is a Greek tortoise, but can't be totally positive of the subspecies without a rear of the carapace shot. It is though one of 3 things, a T.g. antakyensis, T.g.antakyensis/Jordanian cross or a Jordanian.
The pictures are titled Tunsia, so not sure if the person owns this tortoise or found the pictures on the net. Also the grass looks like the grass in Florida. Big Grin

Danny
Yeah, Danny at least I was close I thought it looked a lot like mine. But wasn't really positive.(don't want to make a big ID blunder). Good catch on the title I didn't see that nor did I notice the grass. I Learn something everyday, especially from you. Thanks.
ok, thanks for the info Danny. I've passed it along, and asked the guy to post a "rear shot" of the tortoise (he posted the pics as being his...)
I'll keep you guys posted.
T.
