Hi!

I think you all know my "troubles" with my babe tortoise.
So I have one question. is it normal for tortoise to have from time to time like see trough "film" over their eyes? my little one has it in the mornings and for couple of hours and then it goes away, some times only over one eye. eyes are not swollen. to me it looks like extra tears but like more compact.
no sneezing...
everything looks good.I can't take a pic cause my dad took the camera Sad

thanks
Hi if your tort seems generally well and is active and feeding then I would not worry too much about the eyes, unless they are weeping or very unclear. They do seem to look a bit different every time I look at them closely![/b]
Hi!

I don't know if I told you but I work in a local zoo so I have a chat with my vet every once in a while so to keep you updated.
Kreso is great. I found out that baby tortoise and I mean until like 5 years manage their ions in their bodies with excretion from eyes and sneezing. so if you see your tortoise just sneezing and with that film over his eyes he is just making his ion balance. also too often pealing of his skin is the first sign of lack of proteins. these are all things that doesn't need medical treatment but noticing it on time.

talk to you soon
