You can buy a liquid calcium supplement mfg'd for human babies, in the drug store. Ask your vet how much to administer...but you need, in fact you MUST include putting the little one out in the sun for a while. Because all the calcium in the world won't work unless he has the sun to make it work. (This is probably why he's soft in the first place. They need to be outside in the sun)

Nina, Sunshine, calcium and a good diet. But when outside make sure he has the ability to get out of the direct sunshine if you are not their to constantly supervise as they can overheat.

Hi everyone, thankyou for your responses. I am very worried about marley and think he may need a trip to the vet again. He is not eating and sleeping all the time. Hardly traveling around like normal just moving from one spot to the other to sleepy time again. We have been giving him warm soaks and sprinkling the calcium onto his food. Now if he would eat. The weather just really warmed up out here so there really hasn't been much real light for him to get until now and being at work all day it is limited when we get in. He is very soft and sleeping all the time. The temps have changed around here to warm so it is harder now to keep him a warm side 85 to 90 and a cooler side for him.
I have ordered him some TNT to get some natural calcium into him and a cuttle bone. It is on its way so hope to get that in two days or so. I am not sure what else to do and will call the vet tomorrow to report his behavior.
this little baby tort has me stressing!!! poor little guy!!
