The Plastron looks pretty flat from this angle, so I agree, female. Let us know when you come up with a new name

Regardless what is wrong with Billy for a girl or boy??? I have a neice thats nick name is Billy then theres Billy Jean King, lots of female Billys as well as male Billys, My Son-inlaw is a Billy.

Danny, are you looking at the underside shell shape near the tail or the tail itself? I can see now that the male has a sharper V shape shell and the female has a wider V shape near the tail. I had to go out and take pictures of mine to look at closely to compare and there is a distinct difference in that area of the plastron near the tail besides the flat vs concave which doesn't always show up on pictures. I Didn't know that, I thought the difference was only the flat vs concave. That's why I love this forum

I'm going by the plastron shape near the tail, which is a sharp V. Males really don't have a very much bigger tail than a female, but they do have more tail after the vent. Females have almost no tail after the vent, very stubby.
