I have a male RES about 6" long. He has the long claws that males have. Do they ever need to be trimmed? Thanks, Jennifer
I'm not sure. I had several RES around that size before and never trimmed their nails. Maybe someone with more experience can help.
They almost never need their nails trimmed. They use those nails to court the females.
