I looked in a plant book and the closest I could find is Fountain Grass (Pennisetum), but the plants are only about half the height (18"-24") of what the book says (3'-4') and the plumes are a bit "wilder" (that's all I could come up with to describe it. Anybody recognize it, and really most importantly, can Leopards and Russians eat it?

My wife wants to remove a couple up front and it looks like the type of thing the torts would like to hide behind and munch on.
It should be fne. There are many horticutural varieties of fountain grass in different sizes and color patterns.
That's what I was hoping, thanks!
