These two were hatched-out about a year ago and raised by friends of mine. I've watched them grow from haychlings to 4" yearlings and couldn't resist when my friends were selling them. They are very personable and come running right up to you. I'm not sure of their gender at this size, but they might be a fun breeding project some day.
Thanks for looking
Who wouldn't love that face! Congrats on your new family member ~ What is the name?
Also, you may be able to get a clue as to the sex if you post pics of the underbelly, focusing on the scutes near the tail.. tail fin shaped v. "U" shaped..
Anyways, congrats again,
Purpod
Hehe I love the little faces popping out

Congrats on your new acquisitions, they are very cute

Their names are "Egg Drop" and "Won Ton". I thought they might be too small to sex, they are only 4-4.5". I"ll take some Plastron shots and see if any of you can tell.

Thanks Jaqui,
I've been converting over to more "box" or "Tortoise Table" type set-ups, from aquariums. I definitely like the boxes much better and I can make more appropriate sizes. The rescue seems to be increasing with this bad economy and I need to rethink some layouts, in my basement. Who needs storage rooms anyways? Lol!
Take care
