I think these two are a little over a year...I got them in a trade and I'm hopeing they are female.....

Tracy they look great, looks like you may have a female and a male.
Sad which ones which? Is the one on the left the male?

Im just guessing but I think the bigger of the two is male but of course Chris would know better than I. They are still the cutest little buggars ever!

Aghhh! ** pulling hair out *** LOL How can you tell . Ive gotta quit the torty lottery I'm not very good at spotting the sexesTongue
Dan said exactly what I thought, female left, male right.Cool
dude i want your male! LOL!
How can you tell the difference? I am dying to know if my yearling is male or female. Can someone (HermanniChris, maybe) do an informational post with photos showing the differences?

UPDATE: I think I figured it out! It is the width of the carapace by the rear legs, right? The wider ones are the males.

My Virgil is a boy after all! How long does it take for these differences to be seen? I have a baby that I named Emma, but she is only about three months old, so I think it will be a while before we can tell if she is a girl or not.
