^_^ we're such cheaters eh?
I checked the post your critters thread and so far no red foot owners. But my 2 second choice of tortoise was red foot...
We've gotta find some redfoot folks somewhere. cpx, i tried that forum but i have to wait until an admin clears me Sad
I think I tried to join like A month ago and I don't think they have cleared me yet!!!But now I don't need to join because I have this site.
Redfoots are my hubby's favorite. That is what he wanted me to get.
Hi, I am a new Redfoot owner. We got a little 2 yo Redfoot at the Turtlerama in Sacramento last weekend. She (or he) is soooo sweet. I am in love. I am having difficulty finding an Active UV bulb in Sacramento. If anyone knows where I can get one, I would appreciate it. I am keeping her outside as much as possible during the day, but I worry about her calcium. Also looking for a local source of Cypress mulch. Apparently it's not environmentally friendly. I hate the alfalfa pellets we currently have. They smell like a barn! Would like to know if anyone has some other bedding suggestions. I look forward to talking with other Redfoot people.
i have two lovely little redfoots with cherry head Wink
there about 18 and 24 months old!

Redfoot owners will find the site in time if it really takes off. No need to be poaching members from other forums.
O.o why not?
i always go to other forums and stuff like that.
Please do not poach people from my forum, it is hard work starting a new forum and for someone to come and poach members is just not on.
I keep 7 reds, 4 sub adults and 3 adults. Hoping for eggs soon.

I have a few adult redfoots and would like to know if anyone on here is from Arizona and breeds them? thanks
I have loved redfoots forever. I am finally getting set up to get some. I want a baby but would also like some older ones becasue I like the big ones.lol. They are my second favorite tortoise. But it will be a while before I can get an aldabra.lol
Any hints on good places to buy baby and subadult redfoots?
Now that I made my first post I guess I should go to the intro page and do it right huh? Big Grin
