Ok ...so who's going to adopt this little painter I rescued from a chick that thought it was a box turtle.
I wont ship till it warms up and I'd like for her to go to someone who has a clue about turtles. So if youd like to adopt..get ahold of me and we'll chat.
If your interested and dont know anything about turtles you have enough time to read up on Painted turtles and their care.
Right now she's little but she'll need a big tank. I currently have her in a 300 gallon stock tank

Can you post a picture Tracy? So we can tell subspecies, just to give someone an idea of how big she might get.

Its a native from here in WI, so its either a Western or a Midland Painted. Both average 4-8".
