My Russian Tortoise seems like he is peeling on his right cheek. He lets me touch it and poke at him to see if anything is wrong. I gave him a long soak to see if it would soften the skin to fall off naturally, as he does rub his cheeks with his front legs sometimes. Well if hasnt come off and i dont want to pull it off in case i hurt him, even though he would let me do it. I just dont know if theres something wrong with him or if its natural. Please someone help me! I really appreciate any and all help and suggestions!

sounds like he is just shedding perfectly normal don't pull on it it will come away in time

My one boy peels pretty regularly. Even with his soaks.

Glad to hear this is normal. When I returned to L.A. this week after being out of town for a few days it looked like my little Farishta was peeling on the top of her head and possibly one cheek....
