Hello everyone I have 1 desert tortoise and I was wondering If anyone knows where I can go to get some others to add to my Lonely Tortoise. I am looking for just the Desert Tortoise.

Alot of people get torts from Craigslist. You would be surprised how many are on there. You can google rescues for your area also. Other people from that area may have ideas for you.

do some web searches to see if there are any local tortoise/turtle clubs in your area. i got my DTs from the CA Tort&Turt Club. a lot of folks keep DTs and then get a surprise when they find little ones running around. You might have some difficulty this time of year because most older DTs will be hibernating but come springtime there will likely be an abundance of torts for adoption.
