the eggs "chalk"??? mine don't look any different, 'tho I haven't picked them up or anything...

and if they are NOT fertile, how long until they go rotten and you can tell?
It usually takes 5 to 7 days to start to chalk, but I have had an egg take 21 days to chalk. Here is what some fertile eggs look like

after about 60 days you should be able to tell if it's not fertile. Big Grin

so Kelly are the eggs turning white yet (chalking)? Have you tried to candle them?
i tried to candle them but i need a better little light, i saw nothing. they don't look any different to me, really... just kinda yellowish on the inside, kwim?
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are late bloomers and will be chalking soon. Has this female had eggs before?

This is the first time she's laid while in my care, but she may have laid for a previous owner (the last owner told me the one before her said she had... but who knows...)
