This was Echo trying to make a nest in too sandy substrate. The more she dug the more it fell into her nest.

That night I added more soil and some coco fiber and dampened it all down. This is what the outcome was the next morning.

I went on vacation and had a friend egg sit and Returned last night to find they had chalked up and I can see yolk when they are candled, Yeah.

If a dog or cat has babies they have a litter. When birds have eggs they are called a clutch. Is this the same with Torts? Is this Echos Clutch?
looking good!
so when do you expect them to hatch?
Woohoo! Way to go, girlie!
It is called a clutch Robyn Big Grin They should be hatching in 70 to 80 days. Great pictures Robyn Big Grin

Danny
Yeah! Congrats!
By my calculations 70 days is March 12 and 80 is March 22.
that would be fine as I have 2 human grandchildren and 1 dog whos Birthdays are in March so we could have just one BIG party.
Thanks TestudoGeek, Kelly, and Dee.
And an extra big thank you to Danny without whos help I'm not sure what would have happened.
