I had to put all kinds of stuff to keep them from going right up to her. You can see in the third picture. Even then it was a pain! Even the sulcata tryed to jump the wall..

Great pictures! Just out of curiousity, because I know nothing about breeding. Why don't you leave the eggs where she lays them? Does'nt the female get angry when you take her eggs?

I dunno about RF's, but with my Russian, she is in such a trance when she's laid eggs (like totally hypnotized) that I can lift up her rump and remove the eggs and she doesn't have a clue! She just goes on with what she's doing, and when she's done, she has no clue I've taken the eggs, and she totally buries her nest and everything!

So she doesn't even notice they are gone? She doesn't "check' on the babies? They are basically on their own then. interesting.
