I just read about George the box turtle and how he does not like the 10.0 uvb and it was suggested to use a 5.0. You said it was because the 10.0 is to bright. Curious....the basking light is much much brighter than the uvb light. I don't understand how the uvb is said to be brighter. The 5.0's make the enclosure so dim. I have the 10.0 screw in's vs the 10.0 tube light. Any difference? Help me understand please. I have 3-toed boxies.

The one that I got for George is the screw in as well...Im really just afraid that if I get the 5.0 that he wont get the full affect bc he's currently in a deep habitat (18'' i just measured) & they are marked to only reach 12'' whereas the 10.0 desert repti UVB reaches 20''....still in a dilemma on this one...
