BRAZILIAN ROMANCE

I opened the door the other night and immediately heard that familiar sound ---- "How did that duck get in here"?.. I thought to myself!

Being a little slow on the uptake.. it occured to me. We'll see the results maybe as early as August.. maybe..

Note the date in the pic..

She was an adult when I acquired her.. so she already has some carapace abnormalities going on. And it took the usual 2 - 3 weeks to get her to eat right.

This is one of her babies that reminds me of Chucky!!!

Terry

BTW.. the adults above are redfoot tortoises from Brazil.. AKA Cherryheads.. not a different species - different appearence.. different locale.. same redfoot tortoise.

RE: BRAZILIAN ROMANCE

I'm pretty sure the substrate the adults are in is Cypress Mulch. Very good for holding moisture and also preventing bugs and mold.

RE: BRAZILIAN ROMANCE

great pics, Terry (definitely quick with the camera). So what are the main differences between cherryheads and "regular" redFoots, I wonder?
