breeding activity here too!

And of course it's the male I thought would NEVER "amount to anything".

Hurley... he is the world's SLOWEST tortoise... I mean, seriously, everything he does is like exaggerated slow-motion. And he has always been one to only be active one hour out of three days!

But the last few days he's been up and eating (sloooooooowly) and wandering, and today I caught him for the second time "mounting" a girl. He even was in the right spot today, but he's SOOOOO SLOOOOOW that once he gets up there, she darts off before he even knows it. ROFL!

But... YAY! I hope he keeps at it, anyway! If it doesn't produce anything, at least it's good entertainment! Tongue

RE: breeding activity here too!

ROFL! Well he has surely changed my mind today... Who's your daddy?!?! HURLEY! He has been VERY productive with Varda... very thorough job done by him just now (I got video!), and then when he was done with her, he RAN (OMG he RAN... Forrest Gump went through my head, "I was ruuuunning!") to Calypso. She's not as easy to woo, though, she's not having any of this but he's trying to sweet talk her now! I swear, he is resting his head on her shell and stroking her shell! I'm totally serious! ROFL! He also made a few moves for Billy! ROFL! Then Billy got the idea and they double teamed Calypso, and then she was REALLY mad! ROFL!

The weird thing is, Mithril is right there, and he has NO interest in her! She needs a good knocking up, if you ask me!

Anyways, Deontay is still down there with the camera so I'll get a video up and ready later!

So does this mean I can expect some eggs next month?!?!
