May 23, 2008 is suppose to be celebrated as a day to bring more public awareness to these amazing shelled creatures we share our world with. Take time to maybe do something special for a shelled friend, to share your knowledge of them with somebody not so blessed, perhaps stop (safely) and help one cross the road. The possibilities are unlimited.

Of course all of us know these unique animals deserve this sort of tribute every day.

So go out and do something good for turtles and tortoises today!

Well, that means today is an extra fruit day even for the stars.

And you wonder why they have the runny poops Larry?

I had to bringing mine all inside as we are now having flash flood warnings in my area. Darn Weather-last weekend by 8 am it was in the 80s midday the triple digits. TODAY it was 48 at 8am. Well all of them but the hatchlings got 1 blackberry to celebrate. They got some extra Frazee.

Easy to remember because it is my 21st wedding anniversary!

Crazy: I agree the weather is a pain this week. The day is almost over here and finally the sun is shining for the first time in days. Just keep trying to remember that though I am wading in muddy water to do the critters, in a month or so, I will be dreaming of having rainy days.[/align]

Thanks Robyn and Jacqui! I settled for a McDonalds ceasar salad for dinner (no hubby). He had to go to PA for a soccer tourny with one of our daughters. Guess thats what happens after 21 years! LOL! Oh yeah Jacqui - I gave him some extra fruit last night! LOL!
