Help With Substrate

whats the best substrate for natural environtment... i want my enclosure to looks natural.. but im afraid of impaction.. so please help me guys Tongue

It differs based on the type of tortoise! Because I have the memory span of a rock, I can't remember what kind of Tortoises you said you had!

I think that a 50/50 mix of soil and sand is the best for any tort.
