Kale

my herman love curly kale. If i were to sdust it with the calcuim supplement and he has a cuttle bone will it me fine cause it seems a shame to take away a favourite?

my tortoises love kale and collard greens, bok choy, dandlion greens, etc. Those greens have alot of vitamins for them. Vit. A, calcium,etc. and yes cuddle bones are my babies fav too. Yummy stuff! I love kale too steemed with a little lemon mmmm...Smile

Dusting a food that binds or prevents the uptake of calcium (thus making it unusable to the tort) does not fix it. Kale is one of those foods that can and should be feed to your tort perhaps not as a staple. Or everyday. Like all foods variety is the key.
