LOL I think these Med Torts are like crack or something for us! hahahaha
Anja I'd have to agree with that.
She is a looker. How big is she?

RE: Libyan Greek female
7" and 1029 grams. She is a portly old girl. She was a Petco purchase about 2 years ago and has been kept in a 40 gallon breeder. I did get to do some educating while I was there, she told me about the pacing of the glass and I explained why tortoises dont understand why they cant get through the glass. She is in pretty good shape to have been kept by someone who really knew nothing about tortoises. When they listed the ad on CL they listed her as a Russian Greek Tortoise. The young woman was friendly enough and had been in a Native American sweat lodge and kept seeing a turtle in her visions or something like that so they bought the tortoise but she never really connected with it. They called her Turtle.

Wow, she looks great. I am surprised to hear about her prior living conditions, I wouldn't have guessed it looking at her. Sorry she had to go through that, but am real happy where she is ending up.
Yes, they are very hard to turn down. I'd have taken her home as well.
