RE: New Redfoots
Well I went ahead and took some weights these two, they have been here 15 days now. The little one lost a couple of grams and the big girl gained quite a few. I think I will get a fecal done on them both, but especially the smaller one. (I have really got to buy myself a new microscope, I detest paying for something I can do myself. lol Its a good thing I stock all of my own wormers and antibiotics. No way im paying vet prices for that stuff. )
Big girl went from 1280 grams to 1327 grams.
Little one went from 535 grams to 533 grams.

Anja how do you stock your own antibiotics ? I thought you had to have a scrip from a vet for those?

You have a good vet Robyn and just go in and ask for what you want.

Well my best friend is a Vet back home, the Vet at the Emergency Hospital I worked at and my farm Vet back home both love me. Any of the three will order and ship anything to me I want pretty much, barring controlled narcotics. I was a Vet tech for many years, so they all know that I know what Im doing. I buy Panacur in 100cc bottles. As for antibiotics I keep on hand Gentamicin and baytril. I have an order in for Ceftaz right now.
