We have a juvenile Sulcata who is the most amazing pet ever!! His name is Tortuga and we've had him since July '07. We bought him from a pet store in Texas and was not told anything about how big he will eventually get. After doing the research, we learned a lot about Sulcata's! Most importantly, how to care for them...good diet, temperature/humidity, etc. After much education, we finally feel like responsible owners of a Sulcata tortoise.

Welcome welcome! Its good that youve now done your research and are doing whats best for your new friend. Kudos for that! Its a shame pet stores arent more responsible. It just doesnt do for me to go into one anymore.
