Tortugo, where are you located?
I was wondering the same thing: were are you from?
I'm crossing my fingers for Europe (sorry, Chris... )

RE: One of my hatchlings
Sorry, I didn't read HermanniChris' question.
I live in a small "village" (130 km far from Rome), but now I'm living in Rome, because I'm studying here, at University. I have some tortoises and turtles here, and the others at my home. My father helps me to keep them. I come back home 3 days at week.
If you'll come here, one day, let me known

In Molfetta? And you? where do you live?
Yes, I breed Testudo hermanni hermanni. I have 15 adults, 3 males and 12 female.
The last summers I had 45 hatchings.

I am in New Jersey in the U.S.A. I've never been over by you but my Grandmother does make several trips out there to Molfetta. Back in 1991 she brought back a baby Testudo hermanni hermanni for me and ever since then they have been my favorite tortoises. I have 13 of them now.

I have family in Ancona, I haven't been there but grandpa took the grandchildren over for 6 weeks to see where he grew up and many other parts of Italia.

That is a really lovely little tortoise you have there Tortugo - where are you? There are not enough of these beauties around!
I have a couple of THH, mine are not going to of age to breed for a few years yet.

Tortugo, careful not to tell us too much or many of us will be in your village asking the people there where the tortoise family is!
