powersun uvb lamp too hot???

Hey guys, I ordered a power sun 100 watt uvb lamp for my hatchlings. Since further researching, I've concluded that I may have made a mistake. The lamp I get will be no more than 14" away from the babies, I read that is a no-no. What should I get that can be in a dome style clamp lamp 6-14 inches from the kids??

I would think that powersun would be fine. When you set it up just get a temp on the basking spot and adjust till you get the right basking temp, by lowering or rising the dome.

Lynn, I have a T-Rex 100 watt MVB on my November-hatchling. I adjusted its basking spot as Tracy stated above and he has been under it for more than a month and is thriving.
