We have a new petstore in town. I just happened to go in on their opening day and we were talking tortoise. They said they had something coming in in the future. I told them I would keep them honest, and explained the issues I have with other stores, especially the WC issue.

So I popped in today and they had one little Russian - 4 - 4.25" female, WC for sure. She said they are usually wild caught, so I am glad they were HONEST about that. She said they had sold another just that morning! The tort herself looked really healthy, actually, besides some old shell issues, but she was full of life and spunky, and had THE cutest face, not like one I've seen before!

The clincher is... they were selling them at $121.99. DUDE! All the other stores sell them for $79-89. BUT on the upside they are mmore honest about her.

('Course I didn't get her... no way do I need to spend that kind of money on a WC Russian!)
