new baby! and a couple questions
so i went to the san diego super show this weekend, my first show, it was so much fun! my mission was to buy a baby russian, but when i got there i fell in love with a baby hermanns so i decided to get him. he's tiny, only about an inch long! my only problem is that i researched how to take care of a hatchling russian not hermanns. i was just wondering what substrate would be the best for a tortoise so tiny. he's on mostly eco earth with a patch of aspen right now. ive also been trying to keep the coco fiber damp because it gets pretty dusty when it drys out. is this bad? should i move him onto all aspen and just bathe him every day? any suggestions would be great :]

RE: new baby! and a couple questions
Hi,
You can move him/her onto all aspen and have a shallow waterdish as well as baths everyday. That will be just fine. ![]() Danny |
