I'm so happy to be here!! My user name is Forbidden Tortoise because I can't have one!!!! I'd love to have some but they are illegal in my area! But I love all animals and really want someone to talk about Tortoises with.
So a little about me.
My name is Phyllis, I'm 25 recently married. I have 5 cats, 4 White's Treefrogs, and a 36 gallon fish tank. I love all animals, reading, movies and most of all art.

So I hope you don't mind having me in your group! I promise to squeel with glee for ever picture of your beautiful torties posted!!!

LOL moving would be great... but then there is the problem with moving out of province with 5 cats 4 whites tree frogs, a husband... and all my books and movies... because those are the things I'm not leaving here with out. LOL

Kelly come visit me and slip me a tortoise!!!! You could pretend it was your hat!!!!! LOL. Those people at customs will be none the wiser.

Well I've heard it has to do with when they use to sell turtles in the pet stores and they use to sell those little turtle bowls with them to keep them in. I guess there was a lot of cases of Salmonella Poisoning. Don't know how true that is but. OH well... I'm still Tortoise-less.
