Egg bound
I have a large Ghost knife fish named Eve, she gets egg bound and I have to soak her in epsom salt to disolve the eggs. Its a big pain to have to do this I can hardly get her in the net she's so big. Just wondering if any one knows any tricks to keep this from happening?

RE: Egg bound
Never heard of this one before. So, the epsom salts DISSOLVE the eggs, or get them to pass? You learn something new everyday.

RE: Egg bound
Are you sure it's egg binding? It sounds more like bloating from the diet, causing the swim bladder to expand. Epsom salts was what I was always told treated bloat.
