romaine lettuce
There was a conversation a bit ago about feeding romaine lettuce to your tortoises and I can't find it, but I wanted to show you all a picture of a "romaine lettuce" tortoise along-side two tortoises fed a healthy diet. These are 10 year old intergrade Burmese brown/black males. The one in the middle was sold as a hatchling to a friend of mine. She fed him only romaine lettuce. After a few years of ownership, she went through a divorce and had to move to an apartment so she gave the tortoise back to me.

RE: romaine lettuce
I don't think anyone has said to feed just Romaine lettuce its just been said that it can be fed as part of a varied diet.
