Can anyone help me identify these turtles?
HI, I have just been given these turtles and need to identify them to work out how to care for them. I know they are young, and one of them has a soft shell so I think they're not in great condition. I have calcium enriched food for them and an uvb 10.0 lamp on the way. Is there anything else I should be doing?

RE: Can anyone help me identify these turtles?
In my opinion it is a Peninsula Cooter. I am no expert thought I just looked at the pics on this website and played a matching game http://www.turtlesale.com/home/uploads/i...de_600.jpg

Hope I am pointing you in the right direction for identification at least. Good Luck.

They look like Florida red-bellied cooters, Pseudemys nelsoni, to me.

Cool-looking turtles! Are you going to keep them?

Do you have any other turtles or tortoises?
