He looks so big in the first 3 pictures, but the one where you are feeding him he doesn't look as big. How many pounds is he and how long? He doesn't look like he lost much weight for not eating for 4 months.
He is very nice looking though.

Sorry. How old is she? Do you have any pictures of the plastron so I can see what a female DT looks like? I trying to be able to tell sex on tortoises, but get kind of confused with the different kinds.

Hahaha, I am still trying to learn how to tell the different species apart, too!
I was thinking that the "scales" on the front legs are smooth and flat instead of raised and pointed like they are on Sulcata?  Beautiful shell, though. Hello, weedeater! Welcome to spring.
