types of wood
What kind of wood can absolutely NOT be used for the tort enclosures?
I called Menards to get an idea of cost, they had pine and fir, and then could special order cedar but we're talking WAY expensive on the cedar... --Kelly-- 4 Russians, 1 Hermann's, 3 Leopards 15 Bearded Dragons (including rescues) + 30 babies Golden Lotus Dragons - http://www.goldenlotusdragons.com |

RE: types of wood
Pine or fir wood be ok for enclosures if well sealed, cedar out not only because cost but also because of lt's toxic qualities. I would suggest aspen for both cost and as a hardwood safety as far not giving off the fumes assiated with the softwoods.

RE: types of wood
I used pine for all of my stuff. I sealed everything, and here pine is cheaper!
