Okay first question...

would weighing right AFTER soaking (as opposed to before soaking) result in a lower weight (due to expelling lots of things), or HIGHER weight (due to "water retention" )?

the answer to that question will determine my next question! LOL!

This sounds like an experiment I'm going to try. I suspect weight would greater after soak but I'm going to see.

I ask because I weighed the big girls after soaking today. I am going to start weighing them after soakings (just the mature females) so I can get an idea of who might by gravid... (Last time I weighed them before...)

So of the five big girls, one's weight dropped quite a bit but this doesn't surprise me because she's been sleeping and less active, and skipping meals more right now. I'm sure it's just this winter blah rubbing off on her.

Three of the others are relatively the same weight give or take a gram or two (or three or ten)... nothing astounding.

But the fifth - Oofda - weighs something like 23 grams more than she did last Sunday. So I'm thinking... maybe gravid?

Did she poop Kelly? Has she been eating alot? Hard to say if she is gravid or not. I just wait till they show signs of being gravid.
