sand and the dust
I would love to use a mixture of dirt and sand but the sand I bought is so dusty! Everytime the torts step it comes up in puffs and puffs and more puffs. What kind of sand is not so dusty?
The stuff I have is called Sand Naturals by T-Rex. 4 Russian Torts 2 dogs 2 cats 35 goldfish and a couple/3 Henry's (the squirrels outback) |

RE: sand and the dust
also make sure that you keep it just damp enough that it doesn't get dusty... any sand or soil substrate can get dusty given time, so just mist it down if needed.
