Cleaning?
Just wondering how often you guys clean the "bedding" of your tortoise home? And what you use? We use dirt, and newspaper underneath. But Billy Bob (the Russian) digs up the newspaper and makes a huge mess. It's not attractive. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Smile

RE: Cleaning?
I have a plastic liner (tacked down) in my enclosure others have put vinyl flooring in theirs. Russians are known for digging. Mine Greeks are on dirt and I spot clean it daily. I also have some aspen in about 1/4 of it. They can dig in it and it shows the messes easily. My two are adults. But by soaking them 2 to 3 times a week and taking them outside when weather permits they do most of their business then and it keeps the enclosure cleaner. Comet is also on Dirt and I have only spot cleaned it. Also do Soaks with him/her. When the weather gets a little warmer he will be going to an outside secured enclosure next to his/her parents.
