RE: What subspecies is this?
That was the old subspecies name for the Western Hermanns Paula.
Someone in the 80's revisited the holotype of the subspecies, which I think is in a museum in France. It had been thought to be an Eastern Hermanns (which at the time was T. hermanni hermanni). It was found out to be a Western Hermanns, so the Western Hermanns had to have the name T. hermanni hermanni. The next oldest valid subspecies name for Eastern Hermanns was boettgeri. Danny |

RE: What subspecies is this?
By the way, that animal advertised on kingsnake is NOT a western...I sent a kind e-mail we'll see if anything is done about it. Unfortunatley someone will most likely buy it thinking it is a western.
