RE: Tornado Country -Hope all is OK
Thanks for your concern everybody.. we appreciate it.
The storms traveled ENE from Memphis to almost the KY line North of Nashville.. about 150 miles west from us. However we had rain and severe wind.. still windy now. Good thing the temps were up or we'd be covered up in snow drifts!!! It had been in the upper 50's during the daylight hours here.
Now they're calling for low 30's with 30% chance of snow.. which is not common here.. even in Feb. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
Thanks again for ya'll's concern...
Terry

RE: Tornado Country -Hope all is OK
I'm so glad to hear you made it through, Terry! I went through the May 3, 1999 tornado that hit Oklahoma (F5!). It passed two blocks from my street!! I lost power, water and gas for a week, had the National Guard blocking off all neighborhood streets for that week. I couldn't leave after dark or I couldn't get back into my neighborhood, and during the day you had to have your ID to get back home! Amazingly I didn't suffer any damage to my home, but for two weeks I cleaned up trash that came from 50 miles away! Bank statements, cancelled checks, school papers, and oh yeah, money! I must've found at least $75 cleaning up my yard!
