You are welcome....I am looking for a Russian Tortoise, also. I don't want to have it shipped, though. So I just check Craigslist, Kingsnake, the Recycler (a local free classified publication) and the shelters regularly. Good luck!

Have you tried the Russian tortoise group on yahoo? We often have ones come up and people are really good at posting ones they see elsewhere for adoption. Julie in there has the Long Island Rescue and she often comes up with adults needing homes. Also is a good place to find youngsters. Also Shelly often has youngsters for sell, if your thinking about buying. She's at shellytortuga@yahoo.com. I would personally recommend her.
